"Paging Dr. Capuli, you are needed at the reception."
"Naman, bakit na naman, off duty na ako, I wonder why?" sabi ni Benjie sa sarili.
Nagpatuloy ng lakad si Benjie papunta sa lobby ng hospital. Isang specialized hospital sa downtown Washington, D.C. na halos may pangalan ang mga pasyente. Sa awa ng Diyos at sa kanyang pagsusumikap, naitayo nya ito at ngayo'y byword na sa madla ang pangalan nya.
"Yes, Aydz, what do you have?" tanong nya sa pinay nyang secretary.
"Doc, may bisita po kayo, ayaw po pakilala, classmate nyo daw dati." sagot ni Aydz habang nakangiti at halos mawala na ang mata.
"Nasaan? tanong ni Benjie.
" Nasa private office po nyo."sabay turo ni aydz.
"Ok. thanks"
Pagbukas nya ng pinto, agad siyang niyakap ng bisita.
"Senator Richard Mutchie, ano at naligaw ka" tuwang bati ni Benjie.
Yumakap agad ang senador sa kaibigan at mahigpit na nagkamay.
"'Musta ka na, asenso na ang hospital mo, it is bigger than the previous one!"
"Medyo sinuswerte, alam mo na." pakli ng doktor.
"Well ok, I came here for one purpose, i know, matagal na ito dapat. Pero now lang nabuo yung plans."
"Ano ba yun?" tanong ng doktor.
"Mag grand reunion ang batch natin, so we have to go back to meet them." may pagmamalaking sabi ng senador.
"Really, at last natuloy din, teka, di ba security issue sa iyo yan, lalo na't mainit ka sa mga rebelde at extremists." may pag aalalang sabi ni Benjie sa kausap.
"Doctor Capuli, may you forgot, the president to the armed forces chief ay ka batch natin, lalo na ang DND secretary."
"DND secretary?, sino ba now?
"Si Mate Arnulfo Gonzales, dok, PMAer yan, top of the class pala."
"Wow, si Arnulfo, i can't believe it pare, really can't i."
"Well start believing, siya ang author ng peace talks between rebelde at extremists, the nation is one na. Going to recover na ang Pilipinas."
"How about our other classmates?"
"Eric Cabrera is a housing tycoon, Eric Mendoza ay owner ng isang TV station, yung iba, nasa ibang bansa na. The one missing is Marvin, right after graduation, sa Middle East na naglagi. Somewhat working sa royal family doon. Pero I met him once when we visited ARAMCO oilfields, looks like he head security or intel."
"So, count me in Senator, better pa sabay na tayo, para libre ako."
"Ha ha ha, you think you can get away with this? Treat mo ako ng lomi ha. I heard there is a small place in Pangao na even Bin laden eats also."
"Really, it's a deal then."sagot ni Doctor Capuli.
"Ok, I have to go, see you then." sabay mustrang bumunot ng baril, pinaikot sa ere at itinutok sa doktor ang dalawang kamay na anyong baril ng senador.
Patayo na rin si Benjie ng mag ring ang mobile nya.
"Hello, who is this?
"Yah, Benjie, si Ernani ito, still remember me?...
"Off course I do, hey, how are you, napatawag ka?
"It's about your research on mosquitoes long time ago, i think tama yung speculations mo, you found cure sa dengue virus. It can be neutralized. Do you still have the formula? tanong ni Ernani.
"It's long way back then pero I have notes, but I left it with my former girlfriend in Hongkong." sagot ni Benjie.
"Better get it from her, don't tell it yet, baka maunahan ka!" babala ni Ernani.
"Dahil pag mali ang procedures for preparation, deadly ang side effects nito, you can alter the personality ng tao. It's like you can manipulate their minds."
"Great God, I'll contact Chona right now." sagot ni Benjie.
"So where is she now?

"Ok, I'll do, thanks for the warning." sabay off ng mobile ni Benjie.
"Teka...(TuuuuuT!) paano tayo,,,, tsk, nawala na. may panlulumong naupo si Ernani.
